Industrial noise , also known as production noise , refers to various sounds generated during industrial production processes, mainly including mechanical noise , aerodynamic noise , and electromagnetic noise .
In order to implement the Environmental Protection Law of the People's Republic of China, the Law of the People's Republic of China on the Prevention and Control of Noise Pollution, the Regulations on the Administration of Discharge Permits, and other laws and regulations, improve the technical support system for discharge permits, and guide and standardize the application and issuance of industrial noise-related content in discharge permits, the Technical Specification for Application and Issuance of Discharge Permits (Industrial Noise) will be implemented from October 1, 2023 .
The "Technical Specifications for Industrial Noise" is an important measure to implement the "Noise Pollution Prevention and Control Law of the People's Republic of China" and the "14th Five-Year Plan Action Plan for Noise Pollution Prevention and Control." Noise, as an environmental factor, is included in the pollution discharge permit management system , achieving the goal of full coverage of pollution discharge permits .
In addition, the implementation of the "Technical Specification for Industrial Noise" also reminds enterprises to pay attention to noise management and to address industrial noise emissions as early as possible .
Industrial noise is characterized by its diversity , high intensity , complex spectrum , and time-varying nature. Solving this problem often requires reducing noise generation at its source . Secondly, noise control technologies should be employed to reduce noise propagation and diffusion. Simultaneously, sound- absorbing and noise-absorbing materials should be used to control noise within a certain range.
Industrial noise has become an undeniable problem in industrial production, affecting not only the health and productivity of workers but also negatively impacting the surrounding environment and residents' lives. The management and prevention of industrial noise is not only a legal requirement but also a reflection of corporate social responsibility and a crucial measure for environmental protection and sustainable development.
