The 18th National Academic Conference on Noise and Vibration Control Engineering--Sanyuan Environment speaks out with sound insulation application examples

From May 23 to 25, 2025, the 18th National Noise and Vibration Control Engineering Academic Conference, hosted by the China Association of Environmental Protection Industry, was grandly held in Xiamen. Themed "A Quiet China, A Quiet People," the conference brought together experts, scholars, technical, and management personnel from environmental management departments, manufacturers, universities, research institutes, and monitoring agencies in the noise and vibration control field. The conference aimed to promote technological innovation in noise pollution prevention and control, contribute to achieving the environmental governance goals of the 14th Five-Year Plan, and lay the foundation for achieving the goal of "comprehensively improving the quality of the acoustic environment" during the 15th Five-Year Plan.

The conference focused on cutting-edge topics such as intelligent noise monitoring and noise reduction of metamaterials. It had a main venue and sub-venues, with more than 50 reports analyzing technological breakthroughs and policy trends. Special guests included Wang Jie, engineer from the Nuclear and Radiation Safety Center of the Ministry of Ecology and Environment, Wang Yun, senior engineer from the China National Environmental Monitoring Center, Mao Yuru, deputy secretary-general of the China Nuclear Safety and Environmental Culture Promotion Association, and Huang Wei, vice president of the China Environmental Protection Industry Association. They collaborated with leading industry scholars and representatives of benchmark companies to carry out academic discussions and exchanges of practical results.
